Grammar Vocabulary

Noun: 
Is a word other than a pronoun used to name a person,place or thing.
singular:  means "one" not two or more
plural:     means "two, three or more"

Pronoun:A word that takes the place of a noun, noun phrase, or noun clause.

Adjective: Is the word that describe or give information about a noun or a pronoun that comes at the beginning of a sentence. 

Subject: is the noun or pronoun that comes at the beginning of a sentence

Sentence: a number of words forming a complete statement.

Verb: (Linguistics / Grammar) (in traditional grammar) any of a large class of words in a language that serve to indicate the occurrence or performance of an action, the existence of a state or condition.

Preposition: is a word or phrase placed typically before a noun and indicating the relation of that noun to a verb, an adjective, or another noun.

Statement:
 a communication or declaration in speech or writing, setting   forth facts, particulars, etc.

a single sentence or assertion
